What is Sight and Vision?

We have come across this wonderful definition of sight and vision in "The Suddenly Successful Student" publication.

Sight is the ability to see, to look at an object and have it in focus.
Vision is the ability to understand what is seen. Vision is how we form our perception of the world and what is happening around us. When we use our vision, the brain organizes the information seen and gives it meaning, often by relating it to our other senses and past experiences.
Vision develops in a sequence of predictable stages during the first 12 years of life. It is shaped by genetics, health, your experiences and environment.
